This is the new web version of HELPND.
Documentation files have migrated to the web from the VMS HELPND.
VMS versions will not be updated.
The VAX/VMS service on the UNDHEP VAXcluster will end by the summer of 2002. The SGI systems will be removed from maintenance in January 2002 and will then be removed from service when they break. The IBM RS/6000 systems, other than possibly proton, will be removed from maintenance in June 2002, and will likewise be removed from service when they break. These systems will be replaced by Linux pc's.
The following login notes and motds are the last full versions. These will be updated here, not on the respective systems. The current versions on each system refer you to these web pages. Refer to these motds for the latest versions of CERNlib and other status announcements.
LaTeX 2e, the new version of LaTeX, has been installed on AIX. You must change
your PATH environmental variable to use it:
> setenv PATH /usr/local/teTeX/bin:$PATH
> setenv MANPATH /usr/local/teTeX/man:$PATH
Then do man latex or whatever else you want to look at.
